Blog #8: End of Writing 1!

     Hello, everyone. It is already in February, and came to be colder day by day.  Now, I feel terrible happy. Can you guess why?  It is because one season when I must study English at college has finished !! It was dead busy. I would often fight sleepiness, but the days might fulfill my time as I am a university student. In the writting classes, I wonder what I learned about English. Maybe I can try to write one sentence by many words, a little. This is thanks to study of Conjunction, it made me use conjunctions well such as and, so, but, though. By using them, my sentence became richer than before. What is more, the classes tell me how I should write, following 4 rules---about starting of sentence and how to make spaces. It is difficult for me to learn it and my mistakes was frequently pointed out many times. However, by repeating and practicing it, my form of writing sentences is
better than I write it in high school classes. Can't you see my little change of sentence ability now compared with in last spring? I hope that.

    
     But, some challenge seems to have appeared to me through Writing English. Firstly, I want to be able to use a lot of jokes in writing sentence. I think that only academic study enable me to improve my oral sentence skill which is needed in E-mail communication, in receiving cultural message or in writing in longhand. Secondly, I want to know about some wrong ways which japanese people use in English-speaking world with misunderstanding. For example, I heard that the expression, ''What time is it now?'' is not expressed at all in the world in fact. That is why, including some jokes, I want to learn real ways of expression in Writing English Class, of course, also in Communication English Class.

Blog #7: Spring Vacation

     Hi, how are you, everyone?
I am in very fresh feeling now, because all of test in my college will be finished
only one week later.  It means that I'll become free at the next week by April.
I wonder what to do at that time. 
Actually, there are several things that I want to do after the final test.

     Firstly, a lot of beer would be carried into my mouth and stomach every night.
I managed to live terrible hard university life, so I have to cure my body and brain with beer,
including thanks to them for continuing to work by now.  I just remember that there are some friends
near my room in Sumiyoshi Dormitory.  I'll go to invite them for drinking with me.

 

     What is more, I would like to go to see some movies a week.
These days I happened to find out a good movie theater near Sannomiya station.
And it is said that a new interesting movie is coming soon in this spring vacation.
I should never forget to go to see it.  And you should go at least once.

 

   

Blog # 6: MONOPOLY

     Hi, everyone. Today, what I want to introduce to you is a board game with dice, 'MONOPOLY.'
Do you know about this board game?  Actually, it is so popular in the world that the 250,000,000 set of the game has been sold since it was produced in 20th. So now, I will tell you some details, in order that you have a little interest toward it.

     First of all, MONOPOLY is not difficult to play at all. The rule is just same as sugoroku.What you have to do at first is to shake and throw two dices, to move your figure into a certain place, and to follow the saying of a place which you stop. In other words, the most important factor to win is two dices you throw. The key is your good luck and good fortunate. What a easy rule it is! Even biginner player can start with no difficulty, and can win.

  

     Moreover, there is another special factor you have to do to win. It's to occupy many lands (= to MONOPOLY) by money.  The interesting system of this game is that you can buy a land which you stop, you can have the place as yours, and can be given money by a player who stop your land.  In addition, you can buy or exchange a land of other players under the negotiation. Finally, at a certain time, who have a lot of money  is a winner. As a result,,, can you guess that you had better buy many lands by money in order to receieve a lot of money from other players and to become a rich winner in the future?  That is another details of MONOPOLY.

    

    

     That is why MONOPOLY seems to be very simple dice game at first impression, but also MONOPOLY have a very deep side in point of money, land and negotiation. So if you feel interest, why don't you join us once time!

Blog # 5: If I could have dinner with one person...

     If I could have dinner with one person, I want to invite the mentalist, DaiGo.
It is because he might be able to understand various thinking of all person.
I have three things to learn from him.

 

 

     Firstly, I want him to analyze my  personality by his mentalism through dinner.
How is my character? What kind of person am I?
Have you ever had these question at least once in your lifetime?  I have done.
Over the table, in communication with me, he can surely get a lot of information toward me.

     Secondly, I will be given some advice by him about how should I do to get great maritime job in the future, in consideration of my style at the dinner. I heard that today is in despression all over the world and many college student is suffering from shortage of job. So, in order to work in best company for me, I want to learn a business mentalism which recieve good impression from upper class's businessman

     Finally, what I want to absorb is technique in LOVE.
When I happen to have a date with very cute girl, what should I do to amuse the girl at dinner?
I have few experience about it. But if I could remember the special skill from great mentalist, DaiGo,
I would have no worry at any date.

     That is why I hope to meet DaiGo.
It is good for also you to meet such super mentalist like him!

Blog # 4: My Winter Vacation

     Hi, everyone. Happy new year! One year has passed and now become 2014.
How did you spend winter vacation?  In the vacation, I went back Nagasaki by ferry and bus.
On my way to back home by express bus, thanks to traffic jam, I can't go speedily.
I have not been in Nagasaki long time, so I was surprised at Nagasaki, which has some change.
The number of big building seems to have increased more than before.

      In my home, I met my dog.
She looked very fine, though she gained a little.
It may be because I became not be able to take a walk with her.    

 

In a street, I met old friends of when I was high school student.
I was pleasant to see fine looks of friend.
    
     My brother went back to Nagasaki, too.
At first sight, he has not change at all, including his character.
However in fact at the night, I noticed that he became beer dranker.
As soon as he see my glass empty, he fill my glass with wine and make me drink.
What a dangerous brother he is!  But it was a really happy time.

     I spend most vacation at the house of my grandmother and grandfather in Saga.
Every years, a lot of families gathers in the house and celebrate new year.
Surprisingly, december 31th is also my sister's birthday!
So, families eat dinner, birthday cake, and buckwheat noodles every year.
I think here is no date more enjoyable than December 31.

     By the way, it may be because I perfectly have adjusted alone living,
I behaviored very lazy and idle at my home.  Of course, because of it,
I was scolded by my parents terribly.
But I won't change my behavior.  Such idleness seems to match more with me.

    

Blog # 3: My favorite place

     My favorite place is Kauai Island. It is one of the Hawaiian Islands,
and exists at north-west in the Islands.
You can go there for three hours by plane from Kansai airline.

     Hearing the Hawaii, you might imagine a clear sunshine,comfortable beach or beautiful sea.
Exactly yes, Kauai has such places, too.
But, this Island is famous, especially, as the most 'rainy' spot in the world,
for, a lot of rain falls down regularly a day in Kauai.  It's almost every day routine.
In spite of nearby Hawaii, Kauai have always bad weather...
What is more, natural accident such as flood  happens many times a year.

 

     You may bigin to consider this place as a terrible place.

 Certainly, thiis Island looks very dangerous, however, people love this land

because people can make a living on agriculture by using a lot of rain water.

 They respect rain like as GOD.

 And after the rain, a wonderful rainbow apper in the sky.

The view will take away your any worry.

Moreover, thanks to the bad weather, there is not any buildings in Kauai.

You can have a peaceful time with only nature and sound of rain.

So, if you want to take a peaceful trip, I will recommend this place.

Blog # 2: If I had ¥100,000,000...

     If I had ¥100,000,000,  I would buy a small ship, which has a living room, kitchen and bathroom.
Probably it will cost ¥50,000,000!!  And I would take a sea trip around Japan
for very long days by using my little ship.  Don't you think this idea is very fantastic? Only my, my sea trip!

     On the trip way, I would enjoy fishing!  And if I got fishes, I'd cook them very deliciously.  Also swimming might be good to me. Of course, I'd buy expensive fishing tools and swimming wear.  I guess about ¥10,000,000, including the maintenance cost and engine oil cost of my ship.

     Even though the sea trip would have finished, I would spend my free time at my baby ship.
Anyway, about ¥40,000,000 remain with me!!  I could still enjoy my life, maybe forever.
And because  I like sea.  I think I can feel freedom when I am on the ship, seeing the beautiful view of sunrise & sunset.    What a wonderful time...
So, if I had such a big money, I would have a great life like that.

    
     By the way, I heard that driving small ship needs a license.
So, I might try to study in order to pass the test and to get a driver license.
That's because the test costs   "only ¥70,000."
